Solo Exhibition at Tenjinyama Gallery, Japan

From the months of October and November, I participated in an artist residency at Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio. I worked alongside both local and international artists, as we supported each other in taking our artistic practice to new levels.

Each artwork displayed touches on the timeless stories of fantasy & folklore, with an emphasis on quiet moments of sensitive, melancholic beauty. I invite the viewer into these forgotten worlds of ancient wonder, as they explore and create their own interpretations and meanings.

I was happy to unveil 2 new large format artworks: Ever onwards and East of the Sun, West of the moon. Others included The Crane Wife, Goddess of Ruins, and my recent work for Fiddler’s Green and Hyldr zine.

A special thanks to everyone that came to the viewing, my fellow artists and the staff at Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio.
